Over the weekend I began to wonder how in the world are we going to be able to buy all the things it takes to have a baby?!? I sat down with Lovebug and asked him to go through some of the parenting magazines and materials we've received and try to come up with a compilation of the things we will need...

Wipes
Crib Sheets
Crib Mattress
Onesies
Blankets
Heart Monitor
... are you getting the idea? And these are like the very basics! Then there's

First Aid Kit
Bottles
Pacifiers
Shirts
Pants
Shoes
Bath Time Items: Shampoo, Baby Wash, Towels, Washcloths
... and this just represents the first six months!

Everyone has been reassuring, insisting that everything will be taken care of, God will provide what we need, I am confident. I already know a couple of moms who will be giving us some of their baby boy clothes --grateful!! -- and we've already gotten a few things from friends too. I've had several moms tell me that this is why there are baby showers too because they know it can be overwhelming. But I guess just seeing that list, all written down together, gave me a freak out moment as I wondered how it can/will be done... it takes a village!
