My 28th Birthday

I had a very nice birthday on Monday. I had a maple glazed cinnamon roll for breakfast and coffee in my Happy Birthday mug (which is now 12 yrs. old I realized); then I opened my presents. 

What a surprise! I got the book "Sparkly Green Earrings" and some sparkly green earrings-- emeralds! My birthstone! 

Then I took a little jog. The flags lined up along Main Street for Memorial Day were worth pausing for a picture or two. 

 It was a beautiful day, so we went to the park before lunch. Levi took his first ride in the swing. 

Zeke turned off the fountain in the pond. Whoops! How does he always find those switches?! 

Then I finished making my Sweet and Salty cake. 

It was delicious! Zeke reluctantly took a picture with me... 

 My guests started arriving just before 5 pm. The kids played. Jeremiah let them feed shrimp to the anenome. We ate dinner. 

And had some cake! 

And had an all around nice time. Thank you to all who remembered me and called or sent a card. I had a fabulous birthday!
