7 Months Old!

Zoë Kayte, you are 7 months old today! Here's what you've been up to this past month:

March 2, 2016

- You just love to play with your tongue -- sticking it out, sucking on it, blowing raspberries. It's cute and funny!

Such a happy girl! (3/2/16)

- You roll whenever you want. Tummy to back and back to tummy. You are starting to squirm to get places. You are becoming more interactive with your toys, especially the ones that light up and play music.

- You really like your ocean tummy mat. Especially playing with the ball on one end. 

- You are eating better and better! You sit with us at the table for all 3 meals, unless you're asleep. Your favorite foods are banana, applesauce, butternut squash and sometimes avocado. We got you your first sippy cup. It's pink, of course! You think it's funny when I put it in your mouth, you always have a big smile. You drink out of it some. 

- You're just about too tall for your 3-6 month clothes. When we move the end of this month, I think I'll just pack them all away and we'll stick to 6+ month clothes! When we went in for your weight recheck on February 15, you were 12 lbs. 2 oz. and 25" long! 

- You still give us wonderful smiles! You love your brothers so very much. When they give you kisses on your belly you start laughing. You are reaching for things very well! Just a few weeks ago you were trying, and now you can actually grab toys and bring them to you -- in the tub and around the house. It's fun to see your skills develop! You continue to sit up better and better, especially in the bumbo and when you're supported with pillows on the couch. 

Watching a show with big brother! 

Zoë you are such a fun little girl! You are very attached to Mommy and scream when other adults come near you. You don't seem to be intimidated by other kids though, you give them big smiles and love them to be around. It would seem you're going to be quite social because when we are in large group settings you are content and happy to watch, needing very little from me. You are still taking 3 naps a day, but occasionally 2, so I think you'll be dropping one soon. You typically sleep from 9:30 pm - 7:30 am. Your hair is getting longer and it's fun to put bows on you. You don't even try to pull them out. Your family loves you so very much dear daughter! Happy 7 month birthday!
