Eleven Months!

Levi, you are 11 months old today! Here's what you've been up to: 

-You're walking!! Pretty much exclusively! Only very rarely do you crawl. Sometimes it seems you are already learning to run because you can get to us FAST when the occasion calls for it!

- You're starting to say the "baa" sound. 

- You are starting to enjoy reading books! You will pick one up and bring it to Daddy or I. And sometimes you'll crawl into our laps to read it. The other day we read about a kitten and I said, "Like Dora" and you looked over at the staircase where she often sits! You're really starting to make connections! 

- You like making fish lips and other funny mouth noises with Mommy. 

- You are wearing size 3 diapers and 12 month clothes! 

- You enjoy dancing! You mainly do squats and head banging. You also like to clap along to the music. Our family dance parties are getting rowdy!

- You experienced your first snow a week ago. I scooped up some of it for you to touch; instead you leaned forward and ate it! Ha! 

- You use your body weight to your advantage. To climb up on the couch. To climb over things. To get out of the tub (agh!). 

- I think another tooth is coming in soon, but so far, still six. 

- You are taking two naps each day now and usually sleep from about 7:30 pm to 6/6:30 am!

Levi you are such a joyful and expressive baby; laughing one minute, screaming your head off in anger the next! If Zeke naps for too long it seems like you miss and start looking for him. You definitely have a preference for Mommy right now. And usually around the 4 o'clock hour you follow me around just crying if I'm not holding you. It makes it a little more difficult to get supper made! You have enjoyed going to Zeke's Kindermusik class on Thursday mornings. You seem to really pay attention to what the teacher is saying; and I think you like being around the other kids too, even though they're older. Daddy and Mommy love you so much and are grateful you have been a part of our lives for nearly a year!
