**although we can't take credit for this particular cake. Fortunately our aunt had a back-up in case the altitude wreaked havoc with ours... it did, so our German Chocolate Cake became a trifle :o)**

Running our Marathon Relay!

Post-Race Team Photo

Our team did awesome! Our total time was 4:29:16!! My leg was 6.75 miles and my goal was to do it in 70 min. My time ended up being 69:19! So even with dealing with the altitude I was able to beat my goal!

All in all, it was a terrific weekend with lots of wonderful memories made! It was a great kick-off for fall and a nice break from work before we settle in to the routine until Christmas. I'll be back soon with some recent baking photos.
To life... full of food, family, Fargo's, flops, free time, Fall, and fun!

Hey girl, you had an awesome time didn't you. In the picture w/Teresa, Heather, Enid, Uncle Gary? and who was the dark-haired girl? As if the marathon wasn't enough you also hiked. But i can stand being in God's beautiful creation every minute possible also. Who was the Aunt that had made a cake? Hoping you are getting back to normal w/enough sleep etc. Thanks for sharing. Love, Mom
That's Heather's friend, Kristin. She lives in Denver, so came down to hang out with Heather. Yes, even though my legs were super tired, being outside was awesome! Aunt Joy had made the back up cake for us :o) The past couple nights I've been able to get more sleep--which has been wonderful. Talk to you soon.
What a great weekend it was! The best part was that I was relaxed for nearly 4 days in a row!!! That's pretty rare in my world :) And of course every minute more I get to spend with you is a treasure to me!
To life together :)
